Vino at the Landing

We got the cheese board and shrimp pasta. We picked up the food and ate it by the lake. I think the cheese board was expensive for what it was, there wasn’t anything fancy or even a large portion and it still cost more than $30. The shrimp pasta was good

Our server had great recommendations! The Moscato was sweet and tasted phenomenal. The pasta was also cooked perfectly! Yum!

Excellent service last night. Live music was nice (not that we needed it - but if we did, I'd appreciate what they were playing). I enjoyed my late harvest reisling wine, beef stew and a shrimp and sausage pasta dish - they were excellent. The carrot cake was great. One downside, which the this establishment may not have much control over is the noise level. Everyone has to scream to be heard, and not because of the live band. Danielle was amazing and certainly helped us fall in love with this place. My wife and I stopped in after passing by for years. We loved the selections and learned about the events and wine tasting on Thursdays. We split a bottle of wine and had the Vino platter and the bacon wrapped dates. All of which paired well and was absolutely divine. This was a great little date experience and you can bet your bottle we will be back! Hands down, one of the best tasting Italian food I have ever had. We came to Washington to celebrate my partner birthday and ended up having his birthday dinner here. The best choice we made. There were some down sides, it seemed to be under staffed which did affect some parts of our dining experience but, the staff that was there was beyond friendly and inviting to us.
