Urban Steel Kitchen + Bar

OK, there is so much amazing food in Northwest Portland, which is one of the many reasons I like to stay at the Silver Cloud Inn, but the haven’t stayed here in several years (since the remodel and addition of this bar/restaurant). I booked a room with a daily voucher to urban steel, and well, I ended up eating here all week. Food was fantastic, service was amazing, and it’s got a great atmosphere!

This is a lovely place and their food is delish. It is a smaller location that offers privacy and awesome food options. Their french toast is one of the best!!

Amazing mocktails! Yum. Friendly staff, amazing food pop up by Adolfo Tigerino, elevated, delicious dishes, great prices! Will be back for sure!

Stellar ambience and amazing food. Ordered the small breakfast - eggs, bacon, toast, and potato wedges and it was all so, so good. The portion was perfectly filling. Staff was friendly and provided impeccable service. Surprisingly uncrowded for a Saturday afternoon. I loved the art on the walls and the playlist (mostly 90’s music).

Went on a Thuraday evening and had no wait. Had the Slabtown Sling to start the evening and ordered their popular brussel sprouts - im not really a fan of Brussels sprouts but holy hell this is an item not to be overlooked. Outstanding. But after a short discussion with our server, Grace, she helped me decide between the steak and the salmon. Normally - id never pass up a 10oz steak - but I have adjusted my diet and she said I would love the salmon (because I enjoy beets) and Grace wasn't wrong! It was phenomenal and paired well with the pinot she recommended too. Might stop here more often wh
