Uptown Grill

The experience was good. Nice atmosphere. I loved that everything was made from scratch. Shared a tri-tip sandwich and an avocado bacon cheese burger. Both were good but the tri-tip was a bit of a disappointment. Tri-tip was thinly sliced like a Philly cheese sandwich would be, the meat was a little dry, over cooked. Would rather have had less meat with thicker slices of BBQ meat instead of meat swimming in BBQ sauce. The pot pie looked very nice, got to take a bite. Yum! French fries were mixed with old limp and fresh crispy, even though I asked for fresh out of the fryer ☹️. Was a party of six and we all agreed it was good. You are going to spend about $30 - $45 per person depending on drinks. Service was average and I was disappointed when the food came out. When the staff brought it out, they had to ask "who had xxx meal", had to waive down the waitress to ask for more ketchup, water and napkins. To summarize, if you are hungry and want a pleasent meal, you should come here, I gave it a 4 out of 5.

Gotta say, this was one of the hands down best dinners we have had in a minute. Food, seasonal drinks, and service were incredible. Our server Sky led us to some tasty selections like the Honey & Maple glazed chicken wings (just spicy enough and sweet) and the Gorgonzola and Pear salad with Pork Belly. Their salads and grain bowls are no joke. We’ll see you in the morning for brunch, Sky!

They had a cocktail with Pandan! It’s was creamy and coconuty and lots going on… but so delish! Share all the dishes, server recommendation was the pie. I’d come back just for the drink and pie!

One of my students had a piano recital here. I forgot how wonderful this place truly is. The bar is exquisite and the service supreme. Although I have never been disappointed with the food, I took a two-year break from this place just because I wasn't in Downtown Olympia much. Well, now I have a solid and consistently great reason to venture downtown. Thank you Uptown for being my culinary choice while downtown!

Amazing food. Like, really good and crafted beautifully. My wife had the stroganoff and it was the best she ever had. I opted for a burger and every single thing in it was quality, even the lettuce and onion slices were clearly selected to be good. For dessert we had the peach pie with straw- and blueberries in it and it was baked in house and super good. Service was A+. Highly recommend this place!
