Tyee Restaurant and Hotel

We stayed here as performers for the Whidbey Ren Faire and were blown away at the excellent customer service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! My boyfriend ended up needing to go to the ER after we had placed a food order and they were super accommodating and asked how he was doing later. We ate dinner and breakfast here and despite the large crowd the weekend brought in, the service and food were both excellent. It is an older motel but in good shape. The room was clean, the water was hot, and the AC worked. The restaurant is across the drive and had good food. The bar had local beers on tap. I would stay here again.

The karaoke on Saturday's is great and the bartender is the sweetest. The restaurant is not so great. We came in on a Saturday around 3pm. It wasn't too busy inside the restaurant. We were greeted and told to seat ourselves. Out drink orders were taken almost immediately which we appreciated. We sat and waited for a while to order. None of the wait staff even looked our way. We waited some more. A waitress walked by us holding a broom and dustpan. We asked her if we could order. She was immediately flustered and rude, stated she was "off the clock" and then said "fine I'll take your order." Sh

Had lunch here. Service was great. The chicken fried steak was from frozen, so meh. The gravy was really thick & not very good for dipping. Tatter tots & french fries good. Philly cheese steak sandwich good. Breakfast looks really tasty.

The bar is great and cozy. Fish and Chips were over the top. The hotel is a good no frills spot. Clean and functional.
