Marina restaurant on the water. Casual and great atmosphere. Fun nautical, aviation, & bar kitschy decor inside. Limited outside seating. It’s a popular place so we took bar seating for faster service & nice view of the water. We enjoyed a local cider (need to find this again!). The grilled salmon is reliable with a tasty baked potato. The crab artichoke appetizer came with french bread and was good but heavy on the artichoke. Staff were attentive & Waiter was friendly and prompt. TVs had the local ball game on.
We have come here quite a few times over the years. The service can be a little slow and as others have mentioned the establishment is showing its age a little and a some modernization would go a long ways. That being said our food has always been great. They make great drinks and the view is one of the best on the water in downtown Olympia. We have rented the kayaks a few times which adds a fun adventure to your meal. We will continue coming back just as we have over the past 20 years. If you have never stopped in and checked out Tugboat Annie's give them a try! Shout out to John who was
I read reviews about slow service but holy moly. Two people. Ordered as soon as we sat down. Two other tables that sat down after us were served before us. It was probably close to a 50 minute wait for our food, and it wasn’t a particularly busy night. All the waitstaff are college kids, which is fine, but things seemed to move at a snails pace, and our server would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. My wife had the Seafood Sauté, which was good. I had the Mac and cheese with crab and artichoke, which was good until I bit down on moldy bread. Overall, it just feels like whoever owns thi
Ordered the salmon and the berry salad. Food is mediocre. Atmosphere is wonderful by the water. Prices seem reasonable. Service is average, no real complaints. My salad was good but not spectacular. Lettuce could have been chopped up smaller, it had pieces that were at least 4 to 5 in long. The person I went with ordered the salmon and thought it was very good. Vegetables however were overcooked.
My mom and I love coming to Tugboat Annie's! The food is always good, the drinks are delicious and the view is beautiful! The calamari is great as well as the clam strips for appetizer! Highly recommend, if it wasn't so far from our houses we would be there every week!
