We just stayed 1 night in Astoria as a pit stop between cities on our road trip, but the Tres Bros resteraunt and the lovely chef has made it an unforgettable memory for us! The food is very very good, home cooking at its best and can compare with the highest standards of fine dinning! And to top it off we felt super welcomed and the service was excellent👍 I had the fritanga with chicken which was delicious from the first bite, and my girlfriend had the Halibut fish which was extremely fresh soft and delicious. The freshly made salsa was wonderful and the carrot cake was also great...to sum it
We had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The owners were incredibly pleasant, and when I asked for hot sauce, they even gave me their personal batch. The food was amazing, and I’m still dreaming about the Mahi and mash potatoes. I can’t wait to make another stop when I’m back in town. Thank you Tre bros!!
We were in town for our yearly trip to Oregon and saw this restaurant that was Nicaraguan. My wife was born there, and there is nothing like this in Reno where we live. We showed up at almost 7pm and they officially closed at 6pm. My wife let them know how bummed we were and how she was from Nicaragua but it was ok. The owners accepted us all in and treated us as family, cause that’s the culture (it’s amazing). What a meal, food was amazing, and it was great to watch my wife smile so much talking about her family/homeland. This is our new go to every year!! Thank you so much to the own
A must-try if you’re in Astoria! The owner graciously welcomed us in even though they were closed and prepared a special meal for us. We had the shrimp ceviche and the fritanga, and both were absolutely delicious. The food, hospitality, and overall experience were exceptional. Highly recommend!
We stopped in here around 5 pm on a Saturday and barely got a seat due to a full.swath of reservations and we TOTALLY understand why. These guys have everything dialed in. The food is impeccable - incredible balance of flavors, generous portions, super fresh fish. We could eat this food everyday! The service was friendly, efficient, fast and the environment was great. We almost asked for the same order twice so we could take the second order to go for lunch the next day. Don't miss this place if you're in Astoria!!
