Toulouse Petite Kitchen was an outstanding dining experience. The Columbia River King Salmon Creole style and the French Vietnamese Halibut with asparagus were both exceptional — beautifully prepared, full of flavor, and some of the best seafood dishes I’ve had. The service was very good, with a friendly and attentive staff that helped make the evening even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was lively and inviting, although it was a little on the loud side. Overall, the creative cuisine, excellent seafood, and great service made this a memorable meal. Highly recommend Toulouse Petite Kitchen for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.

We had today lunch at Toulouse Petit Kitchen and it was great. We ordered a bunch from the menu, from the onion soup, clams and lamb burger to steaks, kids meals and salad. They had an extensive brunch menus including different kinds of egg Benedict’s. All of them were delicious. Our waitress was very friendly and she arranged beignets for one of our group member’s birthday. The lounge section is allowed only for those over 21 years old and there were street parking options.

I hadn't realized that I had ordered takeout from this restaurant but I know this has been a long time bookmark for me as the food here looks absolutely divine. I finally had the pleasure of dining in as there was a concert nearby and this one of the only places that would be open afterwards. We arrived 40-ish minutes before they closed and it was still busy in the restaurant with bar full of patrons and half of the restaurant had tables filled. The restaurant itself was gorgeous as it was dim but they had hundreds of candles on shelves as well as lamps throughout the restaurant. There was booth seating, bar seating and more. My boyfriend and I arrived and waited a few minutes before we were seated and handed menus. Our waiter on Saturday (8/8) was not only professional but hilarious. We ordered a strawberry lemonade for the two of us, a Buttermilk Fried Chicken Burger with bacon for him and I got their seafood gumbo entree and a side of their cheesy grits. We got our food and the portions here are huge. The food was immaculate. My boyfriend said this was probably one of the best fried chicken burgers he had ever had and that the bacon portion was more than any other place has given him. I was very happy with the gumbo and the cheesy grits were so good, it had a puree/whipped potatoes consistency which was delightful. The strawberry lemonade was tart and sweet with the right amount of strawberry flavor. Definitely want to come back to try more of their menu as they have quite the extensive menu and a brunch menu as well!

What a remarkable find. From the moment we arrived, the experience was truly five stars. The staff welcomed us warmly, setting a positive tone for the entire evening. The atmosphere was inviting and well-appointed, offering a comfortable balance of energy and refinement. The menu is impressively extensive, with thoughtfully curated options that ensure there is something for every palate. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic dish or something more adventurous, the variety and quality stand out. The wine list is equally notable, featuring a well-rounded selection that complements the menu beautifully, and the cocktails are crafted with precision and creativity. Service throughout our visit was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, efficient, and genuinely friendly. Each interaction made it clear that the team takes pride in creating a memorable dining experience. Overall, this is a place that exceeds expectations in every category. A true gem worth revisiting.

This restaurant was so overpriced and overrated. $40 entrees and sports playing on TV’s at the bar? There were two huge menus that were honestly quite confusing to navigate, and I couldn’t tell if I looked at all my options or not. They could definitely use a re-design. Food wise- The shrimp and grits were both so overcooked I could not finish them. The grits were so overdone you couldn’t taste anything but cheese and were so overdone there was no texture. Shrimp were over cooked and did not taste seasoned. The duck wasn’t bad, not moist but good- brussels sprouts were so underdone and tough. The oysters were great for the happy hour price- $1.50 each. Overall- I would not come back here. If you are used to Southern seafood or Cajun in general, you will be disappointed.
