We were so impressed with this very unassuming dive bar. It’s much bigger than it looks from the outside. The interior is huge, clean, and well maintained, with a pool table and even a nice private back room. The outdoor patio is spacious, comfortable, and even has a big flat-screen TV if you’re looking to catch a game. Ordering is easy, you just order at the bar, and our food came out surprisingly fast. Thunderbird Bar is a seriously cool Portland spot - laid-back, a little funky, and full of character. I went for the BLT and this thing was MASSIVE - stacked high, perfectly crispy, and definitely not your average sandwich. Great food, great energy, and the kind of neighborhood bar you could easily post up at for a few hours. Definitely worth a stop.

It was a rainy day. Stopped by so my mom could have a burger. I didn’t expect there to be many options for me, but I was pleasantly surprised to find several vegan choices on the menu. I had the impossible smash and it was pretty good. Fries were good too.

you order at the bar and then you seat yourself, they do serve you your food though . It's a bar and Grill so we got there about 4:30 and it was quiet but around 6:30 and start getting loud with a bunch of loud people playing pool and drinking. Definitely not suitable for kids, but the food was fantastic! They are mostly vegan with some meat options, but it is definitely good food. I got a normal beef burger, my dad got a vegan chicken sandwich and he says it's always good. Cute and trendy venue! Has a heated and covered patio. Smoking is allowed outside so if you don't like the smell of cigarettes, beware! Very cozy inside atmosphere with a pool table. Love the option of vegan and non vegan foods. Its a great place to eat and chill out. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!
