Thunder Island Brewing Co

Just needed a snack after some hiking and came here for the amazing views from their deck seating. The food wasn’t bad, we got sweet potato waffle fries and Korean bbq cauliflower. They have parking but it was full around 2pm on a Wednesday. We just parked on a nearby street and walked. Great service.

Beautiful place along the Columbia River. We sat outdoors and enjoyed chips with salsa and guacamole. The burgers and waffle fries were outstanding!! Friendly service, too.

No burger is worth $20. Especially these. We got the bacon jam burger and the deluxe burger and they were good, but not $20 good. These should be around $12, they are super basic. Baaaaaasic……. The fries are really good It’s a nice place, great service, great view, it’s just way overpriced.

We came here 6/26/2026 Friday evening, and had a yummy meal! I had the hummus plate and a bowl of salmon soup. Great ambiance and service!

Extremely disappointing experience on Mother’s Day. We were driving through the gorge and stopped to eat here spontaneously. We were excited based on good reviews we saw. We had about a 15 minute wait for a table. After we sat down, was at least 20 minutes before being greeted by our server. Another 20-30 waiting on our food. What I was brought was a bowl full of cold lumpy rice with sauce at the bottom.
