We’ve been hearing about The Local Cow for a little while now and thought we’d head over to Gresham after a hike at Powell Butte to try it out. We got the “Build Your Own” burger. The grass fed beef burger patty was tasty and cooked just right. I couldn’t taste the white American cheese and wish it was the yellow version. I thought the Ciabatta bun was a bit thick and a little dry so I was having trouble swallowing bites. More condiments helped (they have them on the table for customers to apply) but for my last bites I just removed the bun. The regular fries were cooked nicely but not v
I was HANGRY and needed good food asap. I was recommended this place last minute and it did not disappoint. I got the Moo Melt with fries and it was absolutely delicious. Service great and the food came out super quick. If I’m in the area again I’ll definitely be back.
My girlfriend & I went to the Local Cow last Saturday. It was wonderful! The waitress was so happy & friendly! We got the best fried pickles. A huge amount of fries. My burger was a Left Coast, with mushrooms, Swiss cheese, avocado, bacon. It was big & good! My gf built her own burger. She also got a huge salad. I got chips with my burger as well. Needless to say, we took half our meals home. We had a great time there. Service & food were excellent!
The waitress didn't ask for doneness levels so make sure to speak up when you order if that's a concern for you. I love my burgers medium/medium-rare and that's what I got so it was perfect but I can see others finding that too rare. I got the chupacabra which was really great. Also enjoyed the fried pickles but be aware they're whole pickle spears, not slices. The fry/burger sauce is really good with them! The fries were stale and didn't enjoy those. Super cool vibes, love the the TVs and decor. Seems very kid and family friendly. Beer on tap.
Tried The Local Cow today and overall had a really good experience. The burger itself had great flavor and the burger combinations here are definitely the highlight. The first batch of Local Cow Fries came out limp and still tasted starchy, like they hadn’t been fried long enough. The garlic seasoning was also overwhelming at first. I mentioned it to the staff, and they were very accommodating and remade them fresh. The second batch came out crisp, smelled amazing, and had a much better balance of garlic and seasoning. Huge improvement, and I really appreciated that they took the feedback se
