The Hoppy Brewer

I live a mile away and just tried this place tonight bc google brought me here. The fact that we sat all the way by the front doors as far away from the bar as we could be in this establishment, and the bartender was in front of us offering refills as soon as we finished is why I’m giving this 5 star review. Great drinks, great vibes, the bathroom wasn’t disgusting, and the staff was incredibly attentive. I am so impressed. We’ll definitely be back!

A nice little tap house and brewery supply. Decent size tap list with mainly the standard craft beers you will find anywhere around town. Friendly fast service, no food but you can order from nearby restaurants, burgers next door are excellent.

As I beer enthusiast I find the Hoppy Brewer to be my favorite destination in the Gresham area. Good tap list with reasonable prices. Atmosphere is nice and they have live music a few nights a week. No food but you can bring food in from the many restaurants nearby.

We wandered in while we were waiting for a table next door at The Local Cow. Bartender was really cool and happy to share about the place. Apparently they had recently hosted an Octoberfest beer festival so there were plenty of German style beers on tap. GREAT selection of beers on tap. Didn't look in the bottle reach ins but looked like there were plenty of choices in there as well. Bartender told us they encourage guests to bring in their take out food from other restaurants as they don't have a kitchen. . What an amazing concept. Great beer, great staff and a large selection of on tap and bottle and cans to choose from. You can also find them at the Gresham farmers market. Located right in Gresham, there are a lot of dining options.
