I’ve been there with a celiac friend and they handled our orders perfectly. Can’t state how much attention they had, kitchen utensils and even a separate milkshake cup. I’m coming back here to write a review confirming that my friend, that usually gets sick when eating out, was perfectly fine due to how careful the staff was with their gluten free food. Besides this, all food was great and the place is awesome. Thanks!
The food is great. My favorites are the station burger and the firebird. Whatever they are doing with the burgers is working. The flavor of the meat for the station burger is better than any other place in Bellingham. The staff and service are always friendly and professional, and I've never had any issues. The place is clean and well laid out. I do miss the outside wooden deck, but that is on the city, not the Filling station.
This was a really solid burger that I would eat again. However, there was nothing notable that made it stand out to give it a 5 out of 5. Service was relatively slow but definitely friendly. The tater tots were above average, would give them a 4.5/5.
Very good, and quick spot to eat. Probably the best fried pickles I’ve ever had, and the onions rings were quite good too. I enjoyed my burger but stomach didn’t appreciate it for some reason. The weird French fries were tasty! Our service was great, our server was a really nice guy and very accommodating to a large table of loud laughing ladies.
I have eaten here twice, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both occasions I had burgers for the main dish. Fries and fried pickles as sides. And on both visits Edaleen Dairy Strawberry milkshakes(if you don’t know about Edaleen Dairy milkshakes….. you NEED to find out about them. #1 milkshake on earth. This establishment must have a deal with Edaleen and that is a huge plus! Service is good, I believe the same guy was my server on both occasions. He was fine. My issue is with the portions and the prices. I had one of there highlighted burgers and was disappointed. It was really smaller than it should be. Like the size of a double cheeseburger at Mcds. It looked like a slider. Small portion of fries as well and with taxes and a tip was $29…..for lunch. Shouldn’t leave unfulfilled for $29 IMO. Food flavor was good but great enough to overcome my buddy and I being disappointment in the size of the meal. Great location, good staff, fantastic milkshakes, ok food, ok prices. I will stop in again and try something new, but of course mainly for the Strawberry shake.
