I will preface this with this: I was getting take out. I called and was told 15 minutes. Showed up after 20 minutes. I love local food spots and wanted to love this place. I’m going to give them another try but I was pretty disappointed, especially for the price. The atmosphere was pretty cute! Loved some of the decor. Anyway, we paid $70 (excluding tip) for all this food, and it was not good at all, in my and husband’s opinion. I ordered the salmon chowder. Salmon tasted out of a can and old, and cold (even though I ate it as soon as he got home, less than 2 mile drive). My husband got the “
Great food. I do wish I had more slaw on my sands, but it was still amazing. The beignets were amazing! The waffles are fluffy and filling. Everything is made fresh, and you can taste it! The staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Went to The Easy Otter and it did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the seasonal beignets, and both were incredible. The chicken and waffles were honestly the best I’ve ever had—perfectly crispy, flavorful, and just all around amazing. The beignets were fresh and delicious too. On top of that, the service was great and everything came out quickly. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to! Edit: We came back for a second visit and brought some family from out of state because we couldn’t stop talking about this place. The food was just as amazing as we remembered, and to
Cute little cafe with unique decor and menu. Everything was hot and fresh, sauces were delicious, staff very friendly. Everything was pretty perfect and we would definitely return. They even have some delicious ciders and wines, although if you order wine you will get an itsy bitsy amount, as if at a tasting (but with a much smaller glass) rather than wine with dinner lol so next time it will be the cider for me
The fried chicken and waffle were delicious and made with quality ingredients. In particular, the fried chicken had a unique and flavorful breading that was spicy, but not too spicy. I really enjoyed it. It’s a fairly small restaurant with not a lot of seating and you pay for everything at the counter when you place your order. I’ll definitely be back.
