Tap House Grill

Beer = a wide range, food = lunch is good, happy hour is average. This was a convenient, cheap-ish option when I lived in the area. They definitely don't have a small range of beers. On my last trip the waitress walked off on my friend when he asked what a beer she was delivery to another table was, then ignored him and spoke only to me for the rest of the evening. Weird. That same night we grabbed the happy hour calamari, that came drowned in a sweet chili sauce AND had a creamy dipping sauce. Weird.

Overall, I had a nice experience. Cons: We ate a late dinner and our soups were served lukewarm (but quickly warmed up when we asked). Food took a while to arrive, and our glasses were often empty of water. Pros: Our server was very apologetic about the amount of time our food took to arrive, and gave us a complimentary and very delicious chocolate lava cake. The atmosphere was very nice and the food was quite good.

I work downtown and this is a great place for a lunch meeting. Food is good, drinks are strong and the service is attentive. Tap House Grill has a great location downtown and reasonable prices for the quality and portion size.

I'm now a regular. The beer selection is awesome. I have to get a new beer everytime I go here. They always have a rotational list of around 30 beers on top of all the other greats. And if you're feeling froggy they have a select higher end list with some really good premium beers. Fyi: Abt 12 is super good, But $10 a glass. Happy hour is when you'll find me here. The sushi is decent. Wings are great. Bruchetta awesome. Chicken skewers have a Spanish infused coleslaw that may even be better than the skewers themselves(which are also good) I can go on and on. This place has the most amazing selection of draft beers. Never been a huge fan of the food but the service, atmosphere and drinks have been more than excellent. Price is a bit high for the food.
