Every single staff member was warm, friendly and professional. Loved the atmosphere too but the star of the show was definitely the outstanding food. Finding a place with SO many different ways to accommodate gluten free options was so exciting. (Celiac with severe symptoms). 100% will be coming back!
A family member shared with us a listing for this place and we tried it out on the way to the Long Beach peninsula. Did bro realize we had walked by it several times when taking in the Astoria Farmers Market. We were able to get a table for 2 although it was 6 o’clock on a Friday night. Drink order was taken - along with appetizer & main meal right away. Service was great (even had live music) and food tasted amazing! Absolute gem. Fantastic food, great atmosphere, fun people. Been to Astoria many times but first time eating here. Will be back for sure. I had the dip sandwich and wife had chicken Madeira but everything looked great. They had a dulcimer player who was lovely. Bartenders were nice and there’s a large selection of wine and cocktails. Highly recommend.
The Supper Club has been a long time favorite. You usually get good eats here. For a brief moment the quality seemed to have been taking a nose dive, but the last two times I went, it seemed as if they were back on their game. This time I chose the Halibut Fish and Chip Special. The fried halibut was nice and crispy. Possibly a touch too dark, but still tasty. Their sweet potato fries were plentiful and flavorful. My husband chose the Crab Mac ‘n Cheese. He said it was “just ok”, and would probably never order it again. It was less crabby than he expected and the portion was just not enough fo
Greeted on entry. We're directed to the host desk having entered through the north door. Happy hour but only when seated in the bar area (important). Check ins and hospitality was exceptional, thank you. We did give advance notice, no reservations, however when I said we were early they just seated us though they said a nicer seat was in order because of our celebration. Food and drinks were great. See pictures. Would go again. The decor was eclectic, definitely the vibe but perhaps could be dialed back some of the wall quotes were head scratchers.
