My wife and I decided to visit Poulsbo for a date night and ended our trip at Sogno di Vino. Overall it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was elegant, the food was delicious, and our server was attentive and polite. The reason for 3 stars was the surprise on the bill. We had declined to order appetizers when asked and ordered the Penne Salmon and the Ribeye, both of which were delicious. We were asked if we would like the salad with our meal, having already declined appetizers, we thought the salad was either included with the meal or perhaps a slight upcharge and decided to have the
We had lunch here on a Sunday. It's a pretty big restaurant but only their main dining room and outdoor front patio were open. Service was good though they seemed short staffed. Forgot our waitress' name but she had cute black cat earrings on. She and the man bussing the tables checked up on us and made sure all our orders were correct. But we had to ask the hostess for things because we couldn't find our waitress. It took awhile for our drinks and food to arrive. We waited almost half an hour before our food were brought out to us. In the mean time we were given yummy complimentary focaccia
This place was last minute but oh my was it worth it. Food was amazing, prices were affordable, service was great, lovely atmosphere and everyone was so kind especially our server. We will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone.
The food was okay and the service itself was good, but the way they handled the bill was absolutely batshit crazy. We were a party of 7 and were told they wouldn’t split the check. Fine…no problem. When it came time to pay, $140 of the bill was being covered in cash. We had two $100 bills, so we just needed $60 back in change, with the remaining $160 going on a card. They refused and insisted the payment could only be split exactly 50/50 between cash and card. What?? We weren’t asking for seven separate checks or anything complicated. We were literally trying to pay $140 cash, get change,
Nicole was our waitress and helped make my birthday so special 💖 she was so sweet and knowledgeable! We forgot our jacket and she had it hung up for us downstairs, it was very kind of her. The ambiance was so perfect and cozy, it definitely exceeded our expectations. The focaccia bread and dessert were some of the best things I’ve ever tasted. Can’t wait to come back!
