I’ve had the pleasure of coordinating multiple weddings at this venue, and it is truly one of my FAVS. Not only is the property and locations absolutely stunning, but the staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely invested in making each couple’s day the best it can be. One of my favorite features is the on-site accommodations for the couple and their families, along with the ability to set up and store décor the night before. It makes wedding morning so much less stressful and allows everyone to focus on enjoying the day instead of rushing to get everything in place. Every experienc
We professionally live streamed a wedding at Sleeping Lady and it was an amazing experience! The staff were incredibly helpful and the venue itself was beautiful. It felt secluded and luxurious, despite being so close to downtown Leavenworth. And they had great Wi-Fi which made the live stream turn out great! The couple had friends and family who couldn't attend in person so being able to see the amazing venue and gorgeous wedding was a huge blessing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a adventurous venue for your wedding!
I am a local wedding planner and I just had the pleasure of working a wedding at Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort. Hands down, it was one of the easiest and most beautiful venues I've ever worked with! The venue coordinator was super organized and communicative to work with before the wedding, and it poured over seamlessly into the wedding day. The Kingfisher restaurant has gone downhill, unfortunately, and the O’Grady’s Pantry is now replaced with the Lupine Market, which has a nice atmosphere, but limited food and okay coffee. Other than those two things, we had a great stay and enjoyed exploring the property, playing games in the Playhouse, and relaxing in our room. The rooms are spacious and clean with beautiful high ceilings with exposed beams. Strong A/C, great Nespre
So disappointed! Sleeping Lady pre-COVID was my Happy Place. After Ms. Bullet’s passing the board chose to hire Columbia Management, a Seattle based luxury hotel management company. Ever since, Harriet’s vision has been lost. The King Fisher restaurant was as bad as others have mentioned. They offer few choices, so they should be stellar. I ordered Brisket that looked and tasted like a bad pot roast. The second night we were told we wouldn’t be allowed to dine in the restaurant because there was a wedding reception. Previously, when there were huge corporate events they treated us like royal
