Everything was so fresh & delicious but especially the strawberry shortcake and bananas foster were the highlights!! We didn’t get our servers name but he was so amazing and sweet to us this early morning :)) he was super considerate & the attention to detail in noticing extra plates & such — as well as the kitchen mentioning the onion ring on our burger was small so they gave us an extra onion ring; as well as the hostess — she was so sweet & efficient. We would highly recommend reserving a spot especially on Saturday brunch— we enjoyed our time here!
I have been wanting to go here for quite a while and it finally worked out. I was not expecting it to be so busy on a Monday morning. Reservations are definitely recommended. Once seated the food did not disappoint. It did take a while for our order to arrive. They were so busy the kitchen got a little backed up. However, it was well worth the wait and it provided time for conversation while sipping some coffee. Everything was delicious. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. I loved their sausage gravy along with the fluffy biscuit and tender juicy fried chick
Absolutely delicious! The service was friendly and we only had a ~20 minute wait on a Saturday early afternoon which was better than we anticipated. It’s an open concept so be prepared for noise, they also have external seating available on a covered patio. Our whole table enjoyed the food tremendously! We shared the catfish, breakfast potatoes, chicken and waffles, and huevos rancheros. I appreciated the menu was well notated with allergens and available substitutions. I can’t wait to go back and try more! It was well worth the drive down from Tacoma.
Screen Door is everything you want from a Portland brunch spot - great vibes, a buzzing atmosphere, and seriously good food. The menu is packed with Southern-inspired comfort food that makes it nearly impossible to choose wrong. Everything we tried was delicious and the portions definitely make sure you don’t leave hungry. Come ready to eat - Screen Door absolutely delivers on the brunch hype.
Can’t stress how good my food was ! I sat at the bar and the service was great ! The bartender was so nice and attentive. I ordered catfish , fried okra , Mac n cheese , with rainbow carrots & it tasted wonderful! I highly recommend visiting this restaurant.
