It was our first time there. This was the best breakfast we've had in a long time. Fresh, cooked to order, perfect home fries, great options. Atmosphere classic Portlandia. We'll be back! Second visit proved the goodness of the first. Excellent food, service, atmosphere. Third visit December 13, Saturday. We got there early and I was able to get good photos. We love it and will be back! It's quite a ways from home, and worth the drive.

In the words of my grandson, “I love the cheeseburger! And I would come back again”. My daughter and I each had the New York steak, medium rare. It was perfectly cooked. We also agree we will come back again.

We had never been there before. We haven't eaten a better breakfast in a long time than this one. Fresh, freshly prepared, flawless homemade fries, excellent choices. Classic Portlandia atmosphere. We'll return! The first visit's goodness was demonstrated by the second one. Excellent ambience, food, and service. December 13, Saturday, is the third visit. We arrived early, and I managed to capture some excellent pictures. We will return because we adore it! It's worth the travel, but it's quite a distance from home.

We just arrived from San Diego, Ca. Looking for something local for lunch… we find this neighborhood restaurant… Skavone’s… look vintage… clean and nice… but surprise… everything, every bite was a delightful surprise of flavor… the short ribs, the mac and cheese (wow)… the meat loaf… really if you are in Portland… don’t miss this jewel for your palate…

Absolutely stellar! My brother and I came here and split a handful of different things, and we were both thrilled with it. Had an awesome Burger, absolutely fantastic meatloaf and possibly the best macaroni and cheese I've had in years. The owner or manager was very friendly, the place was clean, and you get a ton of food. I will certainly come back and try a few more things. Their chicken and waffles sounds fantastic, although it's only available during breakfast hours.
