Alderbrook absolutely delivered during our weekend stay. Every dish we ordered was flavorful, beautifully plated, and honestly felt like comfort food with an elevated touch. The calamari was crispy and light, the pasta was rich and satisfying, and the steak was cooked perfectly with buttery mashed potatoes and asparagus that tied everything together. Even the appetizers and desserts were memorable — you can tell the kitchen puts real care into the food here. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we needed for a getaway weekend. Great food, beautiful presentation, and a cozy

We went for a date night, ordered the salmon with polenta, beast burger with garlic fries, ricotta appetizer with 3 cocktails, 2 desserts. David was our waiter, an absolute delight, great sense of humor,, wonderful and knowledgeable waiter. The food was every bit delicious, beyond actually. It's hands down the best salmon I've ever had. The view was beautiful as well. We will be returning.

It was my first time coming here after a 5-mile hike right across the street, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. This resort and restaurant truly represent the kind of American standard I’ve fallen in love with. The view is absolutely stunning, and the food—especially for a picky eater like me—is exceptional (which isn’t always easy to find in WA!). Highly, highly recommended. After brunch, we walked down to the beach. It was so peaceful, clean, and beautiful. Would definitely come back.

There were only two okay things out of the six that we ordered- corn soup and clams. The view is also hard to beat. Otherwise this place has really gone down in quality over the years. The mains that we got, salmon and halibut, were sad and tasteless. The oysters that we got had their taste completely masked by sauce and cheese. Bread was an extra add on, something that should typically not be an extra order to clams. Overpriced berry salad. Waiters were slow and confused. The saddest part however, was the singular candle given in an empty plate alongside our overpriced check. I guess this wa

Food was good, but not memorable. We had the filet, ricotta appetizer, berry salad and the huckleberry cake. I agree with the others. The mashed potatoes were very average. I should have asked for lots of pepper. Best thing was probably the ricotta appetizer and the berry salad. No complaints, but room for improvement in flavor It was our anniversary, and unlike others, I felt like everyone was great about congratulating us on 40 years. They also paid attention to my request for a water view. Thanks for that! Our server, Cynthia, was excellent. She made the meal very enjoyable. Service was gre
