Bad food. Had the prime rib breakfast, very lackluster. Looked and tasted like their Saturday night Prime Rib special leftovers were zapped in a microwave. Not medium rare as requested, and not hot. The au ju had a tone of 'sediment' but the horse radish sauce was decent. Everything was barely warm besides the toast which was cold. Breakfast Potato's were not only under cooked, but had zero flavor, literally no seasonings and were not fried for even a moment in a pan. Looks like they pre cut the taters, boiled them, and forgot to fry them and season them, just straight to the plate from cool
My family was eating here and I ordered to go for someone at home and it was still great. They separated the wet toppings from my burger and put them in a container separated from the warm burger and she said they had a yummy meal. I recommend the bacon mushroom burger and fries. My waitress was a sweetheart, am I allowed to say that? Very nice and attentive to our table. Will definitely return.
I tried this place against my better judgment after the place failed food inspection and FOX12's dirty dining post food inspection interview years ago. The owner/manager took zero accountability, which means nothing got fixed. I tried Breakfast and lunch. Biscuits and Gravy was okay, the gravy was not that good, way over peppered. The Ruben I had for lunch had very little meat and the bread had been toasted so lightly that you couldn't call it toasted at all. Not very many options in that area, but I think it's worth the drive to go somewhere else.
There are restaurants where you eat, and then there are places that make you feel like you've come home. Redland Cafe is the latter. From the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted with genuine hospitality that has become increasingly rare. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and filled with the kind of small-town charm that instantly puts you at ease. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you never feel rushed—just welcomed. The menu offers something for everyone, with generous portions, fair prices, and comfort food that's clearly made with care. Every bite taste
Went here for breakfast with the wife after attending the awesome Bevens Mud Bog event nearby. They were very busy but still got us seated and served very quickly. The food came out much quicker than expected, and it was fantastic! The chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns was all very good. Tender steak, smooth gravy, crispy buttery hash browns, and sourdough toast. Oh yeah! We had a couple Spanish coffees and oh man, perfectly made! Love me a boozy Spanish coffee and these did not disappoint. Really, the service was the standout though. How nice is it to be served quickly, and b
