We were able to get a table for 3 immediately on a Thursday afternoon a nice table with a view. Service was quick and professional. The good was excellent. My sable fish ($55) was perfectly cooked, my parents raced about their ling cod and salad as well. The fresh oysters were some of the best I've had in years. If you love oysters, do not skip them. I appreciated that they had a soup option other than chowder... And that it wasn't simply tomato soup. I had an excellent miso soup packed with mushrooms. At many restaurants, that would have been enough to thrill me by itself. Ray's remains an ex
The burger was juicy and flavorful. I could have chosen a salad, but I went with the fries instead, and I’m glad I did. The bun was especially good—soft, fresh, and full of flavor. The clam chowder ($8 for a cup) was packed with ingredients and absolutely fantastic. One of the highlights of the meal. The scallops themselves were delicious, but they were served in a Thai curry-style sauce. Personally, I didn’t think the flavors worked well together. We went for happy hour around 5:00 PM on a Sunday. It was a beautiful day,and we sat on the deck, which had a fantastic ocean view. Happy hours runs from 4:00-6:00 pm, and is the best time to visit. The stuff was very attentive and friendly, and food was delicious. It is a great spot for family, friends or couples. Highly recommend it.
The views!! OMG. We happened to show up right before sunset and were so lucky to get a seat outside. Even without the absolutely amazing sunset, the view was incredible with several seal sightings. The food was good! We're not huge seafood eaters, but we did get salmon and it was fine. The service was fantastic and we would definitely go back!
Rays did not disappoint. The staff were fabulous, solicitous without being overbearing. The menu, while limited, is perfection. I'd rather a small menu and superb dining vs a large menu and subpar dining. Then you have the atmosphere... quiet, peaceful, sits on Puget Sound with a beautiful view.
