This is my favorite brewery to stop at anytime I visit Cannon Beach. I love being able to walk up to the bar and place your order. They have both indoor and outdoor seating which is wonderful. Their restrooms are also super clean and the same with their entire atmosphere. I personally love sitting outside by the fire. Makes for a great vibe. I can’t say enough great things about their food as well. I’ve had their loaded tots, fries, and other items. I always love preparing their classic burger with a gluten free bun and fries. It’s the perfect portion and dish to grab.
Overall, we had a great experience. The place is nice and clean, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They also have a great variety of freshly brewed beers and ales, plus some non-alcoholic options like soda and root beer. As for the food — it was a bit of a mix. The chicken wings were really good, with a well-balanced flavor — we truly enjoyed them. The burgers, however, were just average. Good place for lunch and some beers. We had chicken wings with Ale and Amber beers as starters, all was excellent, our server gave us few shots to pick the beer, it was very nice. As main course we got their signature burger with fries and side salad. This is where things became less exciting, burger was good but some how everything loose taste and everything got dominated by pickles and onions. Salad was good. Other aspects: plenty of free tables, quick service, nice atmosphere, welcoming staff. Our check was 110$ for three.
There is plenty of outdoor seating if you have a furry companion with you and they do have a chicken or beef option for your pup. The service was great, food could have been better given the prices, and the drinks weren't very strong. I will have to say the atmosphere was great, and the staff members were awesome and very accommodating. Overall, it's a great pick.
Public Coast Brewing – Cannon Beach The food was amazing! We started with the pretzel topped with sea salt, served with cheese sauce and mustard. The cheese sauce was incredible—rich and flavorful. The mustard was good too, just a bit sweeter than I prefer. I had the IPA brine chicken salad. It was good and definitely a unique combo. Probably wouldn’t order it again myself, but it’s absolutely worth trying if you’re curious. The clam chowder was delicious—thick, chunky, and full of flavor. And the fish and chips were epic: light, crispy breading, perfectly cooked fish, and that tartar sauce wa
