pFriem Family Brewers - Hood River

This was such a great brewery to stop by at the waterfront of Hood River!! We only got drinks here but the food looked delicious. The beer was great and their on draft cocktails also looked awesome. The service was attentive and kind. It definitely gets busy, we went around 12:30PM on a Thursday and it booked up quickly, but it seemed like they are able to seat a lot of people. A must visit in Hood River!

Parking wasn't to bad with free street parking. There was a wait for a table at 2 in the afternoon on a Saturday so might need to plan accordingly. But you can have a beer while you wait. Once seated service was quick and easy. Food came out in a reasonable time and our burgers were super juicy with drop from your chin goodness. Give this review a like👍 or at least mark as helpful ❤️. This was a great place for our late lunch. The beers were delicious with a number of options.

Fresh, colorful, and really tasty! The grilled chicken was tender and well seasoned, and I loved the mix of greens, strawberries, feta, pickled onions, and crunchy toppings. It felt light and fresh but was still filling. The watermelon on the side was a nice touch too. A great option if you’re trying to eat a little healthier or watching your diet.

June 2026: Came here for a team dinner and had a very pleasant time. We ordered a bucket of starters for the table. My favorites were the hummus plate, pickle plate and the mochiko chicken. For my main, I had the Korean pork sandwich. Enjoyed that with a side salad 🥗. Would come back again for more delicious food and beer 🍻.

Visited 3/7/2026 Sat. I think the toilet tells how clean the restaurant is. It was a Michelin-3-star-clean bathroom. Good first impression there. The food was excellent. They didn't use much salt/sugar/spice, but make dish with fresh ingredient and home-made pickles. Even the plate was ceramic, not cheap ones. Will definitely revisit to try others in the menu. Should have visited here and Hood River earlier and more often. Especially in a good weather, it was definitely worth to drive from PDX.
