I ate here for my first time. Atmosphere: Plenty of bar height chairs and outside seating. Despite being next to Beacon Ave, it felt like a local neighborhood bar. The staff were nice and not stuffy. During my dinner service, I never felt rushed Food: While being torn on a couple of items, I settled on their limited Thai Chicken burger. The flavors were if the best of Thai were presented in a unique way. The side of fries was literally a bucket. They were perfectly crisp and the right balance of seasoning. Con: Not really a con, but my fries came out way early (because I forgot to ask to ha
We had high hopes for this New Year’s Eve dinner which was based on common Middle Eastern dishes. It started strong with the hummus platter but most of the dishes were bland, over-cooled (lamb) or underwhelming. The wine/beer pairings were OK but several felt like residuals they wanted to get rid of. I commend the effort.
After recommendations from a friend I finally made it here to try the Beacon Burger. Very good, well made and lots of flavor: beef patty, pork belly, Beecher's cheese and smoked chili aioli. Best of all, they cooked it to order-rare and it was done right. UPDATE: Returned for the lamb burger. It was delicious. I just wish I liked their beers more but I don't.
We had a layover in Seattle airport and decided to leave the airport in search of a good burger. Canada only does them well-done and I’ve always wanted to try a burger more medium cooked. I typed into google “best burgers in Seattle” and this place kept showing up!! All I can say is WOW WOW WOW!! I’m so glad we came here the burger was probably the best I’ve ever had. I seriously hope to come back here again one day. The fries and beer were amazing as well.
Good shepherds pie, French fries, and beer! I had the Milkyway IPA. Friendly staff and super fast service. Only thing that was a little fishy and that I disliked is that the tip was already pre-selected at 22% and I got tricked into paying it. Just watch out for the taxes and fees section. Otherwise good place.
