Located a little south of the shopping and main drag in Cannon Beach. Crazy overpriced restaurant which we knew from the menu before going - lunch for two with a cocktail and no appetizers was over $100 with tip. Our server was very friendly, even if we didn’t see much of her. Great seating near patio with the ocean breeze (no views from restaurant) was really nice. Lots of well behaved dogs on the patio. The food was a disappointment. Hubby ordered the tri tip sandwich since you can’t get that on the east coast. Meat had a great smoky taste and was extremely tender. Unfortunately, the
Our dinner at Pelican Brewing was definitely not a disappointment! Everything we ordered was delicious, and the atmosphere made it a great dining experience. They get very busy during the dinner rush, so I highly recommend making a reservation before you come. Otherwise, you may have to wait quite a while. The dining atmosphere is very casual and relaxed, which we really enjoyed. The interior is clean, bright, and has a beautiful beachy/coastal vibe that fits Cannon Beach perfectly. We keep coming here each trip hoping for better food but it just doesn't happen. This might be our last time trying. We waited 10 minutes for a table, which isn't bad at 12:30pm. Refills apparently were not a thing, server never checked on us. I asked for my tri-tip sandwich to not have the horseradish mayo on it and yet the server or cook didn't listen. That ruined the whole sandwich, it's not exactly like you can just take that off once it's on. The fries were good at least. Prices are super high for what you get though. Tiny bathroom and there was a line almost the whole time we were there.
We had drove him by this place and noticed that it was very busy and there was tiny people coming and going. Our experience was they were very nice. They helped us understand the menu. They made suggestions as well. Food overall was very good. Some of the side dishes were a tad cold. Such as the asparagus and rice and mashed potatoes. Other than that, love the meal and love the staff. This was in July. Looks like they're busier time.
Very busy but they had a table for 2 and took us right over to be seated. The waitress came and introduce yourself right away. She was very knowledgeable in the beers that they served. We could see what she was referring to. I ended up going with the cider which I highly recommend. Delish.. food was served within 15 minutes of us ordering and it was off the hook. My husband had the fish and chips which he absolutely loved and I had the crab mac and cheese. We were not disappointed
