Visiting the Portland area & our lodging was close to Oswego Grill. Pulled into a packed parking lot & thought we should have made a reservation. However, we were quickly seated & our server Haily immediately stopped by our table to check on us. Ordered their Classic Cheeseburger with fries and the Salt & Pepper Calamari. Shortly after receiving our food, Haily checked back to ensure everything was correct. I casually mentioned the fries could have been a bit warmer, but they were okay. Less than three minutes later a fresh order was at our table & they were indeed HOT. Manager Melissa
Great hospitality from management, but missed the mark on food and service. Rating: 2/5 or 3/5 Stars (depending on your preference)I recently brought a couple of friends here to celebrate their birthdays. While there were some bright spots, the overall experience was fairly average and likely wouldn't bring me back. The Highlights:The absolute best part of our meal was the manager. He came over to share birthday wishes and were incredibly nice and sincere, which we truly appreciated. The server also had a great personality and was very pleasant to interact with. A nice upscale restaurant to go for a datenight. PROS Food- chicken marsala was yummy with a tasty sauce. Ribs were ok, the meat was a bit dry and not tender. Drinks- I loved the orange creamcucle cocktail Atmosphere- fairly nice and pleasant Atmosphere. Cons- Service- was ok and nice enough but not attention. We had to wait to get our bill bill
We ate here at 5:30 on a Wednesday evening in mid-July 2026, and the place was very busy. We were very happy that we had made a reservation! The menu was surprisingly varied and reasonably priced. My husband had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Hardwood Salmon Power Bowl. We each liked our choices, but I would have preferred a bit more quinoa and a bit less kale. They had a nice mix of non-alcoholic beers, but I was especially happy to see Guinness 0.0.
This place was fantastic! I was really impressed by the classy and sophisticated feel of the restaurant with very reasonable prices. The food was delicious and quick for delivery. Our waitress was very attentive and took really good care of us. I would definitely recommend this spot for dinner. Fair warning for parking, it can be a bit of a hassle trying to fight for a space that isn't in the 30 min or less area.
