We had breakfast here and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and the menu offered great choices. The highlight of our visit was the excellent service. Our server was friendly, attentive, and kindly offered me a different sauce after noticing that I wasn’t a fan of the tomato-based one. That made us feel truly cared for. The restaurant was clean, elegant, and had a warm atmosphere. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. We highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back!
It is a very charming restaurant with an old-country feel! Everyone was so friendly and happy. The owner, John, looked just like Sam Elliott! 😊💕 I meant to order the German Apple Pancake instead of the Apple Milk Pancake, but the syrup was really good, and the oatmeal was delicious too! Definitely a lovely place to stop and enjoy a meal.
Overall a good place to grab breakfast. It’s quite pricey as one egg* is over $4 extra meals are nearing $20. We split our meal as I can’t eat gluten and gave pancakes to my partner(you could swap for potatoes or gf bread). The omelette was large, but also not paying $2 extra for cheese. We got a side of their advertised THICK cut bacon we should have ordered it a lil extra crispy, but placid was good we were expecting even thicker pieces. The aesthetic is like eating breakfast tastefully at your great grandma’s, and with a great historical features. Service was amazing and dining was clean and tidy.
This place is a beautiful relic to the town. The food was extremely delicious, the atmosphere was enough to keep a 2 year old entertained, and the weight staff did a great job. They brought out a toy for our granddaughter to play with and had stufies at the giftshop that she could play with. The only reason I did not give this all 5's is we parked in the front of the curbside and when I got my granddaughter out, I had to step over a bush and there was a small second one right next to that I tripped over and dropped her.
Just had a great breakfast! I am strictly vegan and my husband is not. We both were very pleased. Our waitress went out of her way to be sure our slightly difficult orders were correct. The portions were more than ample! My husband said it was the best bacon he’s had in a very long time. And they cooked it exactly how he likes it. If you are vegan, they made breakfast potatoes for me in olive oil instead of butter. Delicious! And the porridge with fresh fruit was so good! They brought oat milk instead of cream, for me. I loved every bite!
