Wonderful experience at Nell Thorn. Atmosphere was great especially outside on the deck. Service was excellent, not overbearing or in your face. Pleasant to interact with. Food was amazing. The locally sourced ingredients made it all the better. Highly recommend for great seafood and pasta!
Wanted to take my partner somewhere new for his birthday and this place did not disappoint! Service was great, food was delicious, and drinks were on point! We got a variety of cocktails, truffle fries and mussels for an appetizer and I got the halibut for dinner while my partner got the duck. Dessert cocktail and crème brûlée for a treat after dinner. Everything was amazing and the staff was doing a great job. Thanks for the experience!
If you haven't been to Nell Thorn Waterfront Bistro & Bar in La Conner, WA. Put it on your list! I visited recently for lunch and it was such a great experience from start to finish. I ordered the crab pasta and the truffle fries and both were outstanding. You can really taste the difference that fresh, locally sourced ingredients make. The menu is farm-to-table and it shows in every bite. We sat outside on the deck overlooking the Swinomish Channel and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Boats moving through the water, adorable dogs being walked along the waterfront walkway, beautiful weat
Stopped by this place before visiting the tulip farm, we didn’t disappoint! We were seated at the bar. The food and service were amazing! I highly recommend the crab pasta. Our bartender was really nice and we had a good time here!
We had a great experience overall. The food was delicious, the views were beautiful, and the atmosphere was relaxing with a great vibe. The cocktails were also excellent and definitely worth trying. The only disappointment was the dessert. We ordered the crème brûlée, but the custard was curdled instead of smooth and creamy, which made the texture unpleasant. It wasn’t what we’d expect from a crème brûlée. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful, and we’d happily come back.
