Such an amazing selection of board games, card selection, the gorgeous dice..the list could go on & on. I always rave about this location to all my friends. The staff are always helpful & friendly. They also give you that extra push to treat yourself to that board game you have been eyeing for quite some time too 😉 Not to mention they have a restaurant in the back that not only your can rent a room but also play board games while eating. It's amazing! Plus vegan dishes! I could honestly live there. They have a customer for life from me.

Great atmosphere for nerds - it felt like home. All the food was excellent, but especially the Brussels. We are and gamed and drank - great for time. Please support this place!

Recently moved to the Portland area and the first "gaming store" experience I had in Portland was here at Mox. I was completely blown away finding everything I could ever want in gaming and more. This is how I learned how amazing the gaming community in Portland is. The dice I came to buy may not be rolling high for me but they were very reasonably priced as well as all the gaming supplies on sale. I ordered in the restaurant a Crispy Jerk Chicken. Sadly was very unimpressed. Not crispy but rubbery and bland. Service was great but I think the food menu and bar menu need serious consideration.

Mox Boarding House is exactly why I love the Goose Hollow neighborhood. As a Portland real estate expert, I’m always looking for those 'lifestyle anchors' that make a community feel like home, and Mox is a masterclass in it. The Parisian-inspired architecture and the massive board game library create a vibe that is sophisticated yet incredibly welcoming. Whether you’re grabbing a craft cocktail in the tournament room before a Timbers match at Providence Park or settling into a private room for a D&D session, the energy here is unmatched. It’s a huge selling point for the modern buyer looking

First time visit to Mox. Absolutely love the concept. It was a quiet and slow morning when we visited. We had friendly and attentive service. The game library recommendations were so helpful for our group. We got to try two new games, one of which we really, really liked and wanted to buy. They have a giant game store on site as well. The food was actually a little too high brow for what we and the teenagers were looking for. We were also hoping for more shareable appetizers or small plates to share as we gamed. Otherwise, awesome experience. Highly recommend.
