Mill City Grill is unexpectedly charming in the downtown of Longview. There are two rustic levels with sections that would make for great small group events. The menu is basic but executed well and above average, but not excellent. This is on par for a restaurant bar of its type. The prices are reasonable however the service is average two below average. We were there when it was slow, late afternoon, Sunday. Our order was taken and prepared promptly, but there were no check-in and we had to wait and then ask to get our tab. Maybe that’s just how things are done on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Super kind and outgoing service, the meal was fantastic and the portions are pretty big. The Cajun tots and margarita pizza are so good. The patio is dog friendly, I ordered pesto pasta

We were so glad that we decided to have dinner here! There was more than the usual choices of eats on the menu. Could hardly decide between all the great dishes they serve. Everyone absolutely loved what thethey chose. My husband said it was the best steamer clam pasta he's ever had. The pulled pork Mac n Cheese was amazing. Can't wait to try everything here! Great service. Clean and inviting atmosphere.

One of the best hole-in-the-wall restaurants and bar I have found. I had a big bowl of their pork butt stew and really enjoyed it. Next time I'm trying their buffalo meatloaf. Lots of seating on two floors. I went mid-day so it was fairly empty and quiet. I bet it's rocking weekend evenings.

Update: Nov. 3, 2023 Stopped in for lunch and ordered the "Bigger Bowl" of chili with onions, cheese and sour cream $9. It was huge and some of the best chili I've eaten in years and is a very large portion. I couldn't eat the whole thing, leftovers for a few days. My wife ordered the BBQ Ranch Chicken wrap with homemade BBQ potato chips $14.99. She said it was one of the best wraps she'd ever had. Looking for a new lunch place while waiting for my father-in-law's doctor appointment and decided to try Mill City and wasn't disappointed. I had their pork butt stew and salad. The stew was deli
