McMenamins St. Johns Theater & Pub

We had such a wonderful experience at McMenamins St. Johns Theater Pub and I can confidently say it was a 10/10 visit for our family. I brought the kids, and from the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely family-friendly. It can sometimes be hard to find places that feel equally enjoyable for adults and kids, but this spot truly hits that perfect balance. The service was incredible — attentive without being intrusive, friendly without feeling rushed, and patient with our group. Our visit was good all around. Friendly and attentive team. Good variety of menu options. And the food was spot on. I went with the gyro and it was delicious as well as a generous portions. The beer cheddar broccoli soup was fantastic. It is nice to have this place in the St. Johns neighborhood.

A pub and Theater…Imagine that! Their popcorn is the BEST! St. John Features the normal MCMENAMINS faire. Always quality and good portions. My fav drink is their “Coffee Nudge!” Interior vibe is their typical eclectic, unique, historic decor. Going to a MCMENAMINS is always like walking into a museum & their music never sucks!

The ambiance is impeccable! The theater is one of the most cozy and beautiful I’ve ever been to. The bar has so many things to admire! My only negative notes are that the “Cajun tots” are quite salty, and the Lemon Raspberry seltzer is not good. The gyro however was delicious! Will definitely come back in the future.

Maybe the single best place I've ever gotten to watch a Superbowl from! Atmosphere is great, seats are comfortable, there's a narrow table in front of the seats so you can put your food or drinks somewhere while watching whatever is on. And, as always, the food and drink you expect at a McMenamins was enjoyable.
