Really enjoyed my visit to McMenamins on the Columbia. The river views and atmosphere were great. The burger was excellent, juicy and full of flavor. The crispy fried chicken was just okay and did not stand out as much as the burger. Overall, a solid experience and I would definitely come back.
I really love coming to the McMenamins on the Columbia, sitting outside the patio and watching the sailboats go back-and-forth, jet ski's, boats. The service is always good at this restaurant a wide variety of different types of beers and cocktails. The food menu is good. I do like that. They offer specialty foods once a month.. This last trip to the restaurant I ordered off of their specialty menu for the month and it was the Kahlúa pork over rice with macaroni salad. I was thoroughly looking forward to this meal, but it was very disappointed in the meal. The pork was very salty, and I don't
Good food. Nice view. Fun atmosphere. I had the turkey sam with cranberry, pickles & onion (i think they call it the dilly turkey sam)- its an interesting combo but it works! Cajun tots are a must. My sister had the cheeseburger with fries and said the fries were really good! They also have fun seasonal drinks available, too.
This is the BBQ beef BRISKET Mac and cheese. I have had this in the past and loved it.. last night not so much. Picture provided..my “brisket” was two slimy rubbery pieces of BACON thrown on top of some bland Mac and cheese that was cold on the bottom… zero BBQ sauce. Zero flavor. I know what this dish is suppose to be like as I’ve had it before…idk what happend but it was terrible… should have sent it back right away. Brought it home for my Bf to maybe eat and he won’t eat it either.. I came here for my birthday dinner..bummed to say the least. I will never return here again unless it’s to ge
The restaurant has a nice, calm atmosphere with soft lighting. The service is good, and there are great views outside to enjoy while you’re eating, especially the beautiful Columbia River. The 19th Hole sandwich was really good and quite big, so it’s definitely shareable. The tiramisu was also nice, and I loved the aesthetic presentation of it. Overall, I’ll definitely come back to try other items on the menu.
