McMenamins John Barleycorns

The food and service were both okay, not bad but not great either. The clam chowder had a different base than we're used to - again, not terrible, but just meh. Didn't love the shoestring french fries because they get cold so fast, especially when seated outside on the patio. Overall, it was okay. Probably will not return.

Adore the potbelly stove and atmosphere 😍 They seasonally have Elk Burgers. This time was ho-hum. Burgers tasted like they had been frozen and there had just been a gas leak earlier in day ~ I understand but also not really. The staff was pleasent enough. Just not the normal mcmenamins experience

Food is great, service is very good, nice atmosphere! Plenty of outdoor seating & parking. If you go during happy hour, which is every day from 2 to 5 PM, you’ll get a nice little discount. Highly recommend the Tres Tacos. Delicious crispy fish with a light batter.

I have gone here plenty of times with friends after work. It's a nice little spot. Enjoy the drinks as they have their own beers and whiskeys. Their cocktails even seasonal ones are really good. The food is typical for a what it is, nothing too fancy but satisfying.

Love the old building. Food was ok. T-n-T Tots were hot and crispy. Chicken tenders were nicely cooked but very bland. Slaw had a strange flavor. Hubby had fish-n-chips. He said they were good but he didnt like the slaw. Took our server quite a while to come back and check on us. We sat for probably 15ish mins waiting for him to swing by and give us a to-go box and the check.
