Matador Redmond

I went here for lunch with a friend, and it was amazing! We got the Chorizo Queso dip, and it was perfect. Everything tasted great. Nothing was too spicy to be enjoyable. The salsa was excellent. There were a ton of margarita options, so I sampled more than one. Our server was attentive and very friendly. 10/10. I'll definitely be coming back. The only negative I have is that the floors were sticky.

Edit: Idk why they have a bot (or human?) post almost the SAME RESPONSE to each review vs addressing the issues identified in the review. Maybe I won't be back... This place was on my list for a while and it didn't disappoint. Walked in (no reservation) and sat at the bar. The food was really good, big portions. The drinks were really good too. Only complaint was the bartender seemed more interested in the regulars (knew their names) and didn't pay much attention to us. Will definitely go back but may not sit at the bar next time.

Had such a great experience at The Matador! The margaritas were really good, served a bit smaller than the typical oversized glass, but honestly that made the price feel fair and worth it. We were told the wait would be about 25 minutes, but ended up being seated in just 5, which was a really nice surprise. The food itself was amazing. everything was perfectly seasoned and full of flavor without being overwhelming. Overall, it was a lovely dinner from start to finish. I’d absolutely come back here again and again.

It's okay for vegetarian folks. I got the tacos with beans and fajitas (I appreciated the substitution). I felt like the tacos could've had more flavor (cumin, chilli powder, something tart). It's was $11 and pretty filling so I'll give them that. Ambience was nice. Service got a three star because I requested some salsa with the tacos and he got back to us 30 minutes later.
