Came here before going to the Sunday Market. It was my perfect morning breakfast! Warm, fresh, full of all the flavors I look forward to in a comfort food breakfast. The gravy with my sunny side up eggs we on-point! I am definitely coming back! The $8 mimosas are worth it!
This is probably the best breakfast I have had at a restaurant in a very long time. Good old-fashioned diner breakfast. I recommend the hobo breakfast with two eggs if you are a hashbrown and sausage gravy kind of guy. Delicious. My family got a wide range of other breakfast items, including pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy. All good- the pancakes are sweet almost like a cupcake. I would say that staff was very busy- so they did take a bit to refill water, coffee, etc. However, they were extremely friendly, and the food was just top-notch.
An old-school diner (worn-in comfort, no artificial market hype) with some booths and a counter along with a bar and gambling parlor. The place where 6 or 8 guys have met for coffee for decades. Great diner food and they cook eggs with precision (over-easy, over-medium, over-hard). Good comfort food and attentive service. Definitely a repeater.
I don't know how these guys have 4.3 stars. Went waited at the entrance for about 10 minutes, there was another person waiting for who knows how long. Had no less than 3 employees look at us, waiters and bar staff. Finally someone comes after walking but us for the 3rd time to ask has anyone checked you in.... "No"... "We have a 45 minute wait on food so we can't sit any of the tables..." At any point in time someone could have walked up said hey we have a wait if you don't mind etc. no, no, care at all, probably some of the worst situational awareness. I wouldn't care if we had been ackn
Really cute local diner with nice breakfast and lunch options. The chicken fried steak was awesome both times I had it as were their pancakes and Bloody Marys!
