La Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie

La Provence is one of those places that reminds you why brunch can be such a special meal. I brought my parents here last weekend, and from the moment the pastries hit the table, we knew we had made the right choice. The croissants were absolutely beautiful. Perfectly flaky, deeply buttery, and served with a bright berry sauce that somehow made them even better. They tasted like something you’d find in a neighborhood café in France. The omelets were excellent as well. Light, fluffy, and generously filled, with crispy breakfast potatoes that were seasoned and cooked exactly the way breakfast

Nice, relatively calm space. Pork steak was great. My wife says the garlic fries were PERFECT (flavor and crispiness). While you might spot an eagle, osprey or hawk over the lake, we didn't post TOO much attention to the wonderful view. The peppermint mocha martini was smooth with the right amount of mint and chocolate. The staff seemed great and gave the right amount of attention. We didn't need much from the server on the date night, but I heard an older couple enjoying short conversations with one server when she was working on drinks.

I go here pretty much once a month, more if I can, For brunch. Absolutely love this location, and restaurant. Not only do they have amazing delicious food, they have a knack for hiring the most kind, and well mannered servers. Today went, and their specials included the chorizo, hash scramble, once my favorite menu item… That had been taken away. I was so happy to see it came back! Every time I come over the past year and a half or so I have been asking for it so my wishes have been granted!! This is an amazing local chain with several outposts in the Portland Metro area. This particular location is not my standard go-to, but my spouse required a croissant and I deliver! Lol. This particular location has an awesome ambiance (though they all do) and really takes me back to Paris. Excellent customer service and amazing food.

We greatly enjoyed our first visit to La Provence. Charlotte is an outstanding server and so personable - one of our all time favorites. We also enjoyed visiting with Sydney (mgr). She too is very nice. The atmosphere is delightful. The menu is quite extensive, and we chose Baked Eggs, Chef’s Omelette (with egg whites), Croissant, and also shared the Banana French Toast. Our compliments to the kitchen for serving steaming HOT and delicious entrees. We bought two yummy pastries for next day breakfast. Thanks very much for having such an outstanding restaurant.
