We checked this place out for dinner. It did not disappoint. I had the special of the day. It was Surf and Turf. Breaded shrimp with a steak and salad. It was great! My wife had the grilled BLT. She could only eat half of it. She said it was delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I highly recommend this place. We will be back.

We ordered the chicken Caesar with fried chicken, a Cuban, and a burger with fries. Unfortunately, this visit was a bit disappointing compared to our past experiences. The fried chicken on the Caesar salad was very greasy and overcooked, and some of the croutons were burnt. The Cuban was okay, but nothing particularly memorable. The burger itself was fine, but it came with all of the sauces on the side instead of on the burger, which wasn’t ideal for a child. The fries also seemed slightly underdone and could have used another minute or so in the fryer. That said, aside from this experience, we’ve always really loved the zucchini fries and the French fries when they’re crisp and fresh out of the fryer, which is why this visit was a letdown. Hoping this was just an off day, because we’ve enjoyed food here in the past and would love to see things back to the quality we’re used to. (Picture taken after I ate some)

Service and my daughter garlic fries werethe only good thing that came out of my lunch today. Her chicken strips were stringy. My sandwich was burnt and my BLTA had very little A. We used to love this place until the new owners took over. Sad to see it go downhill. This was our last attempt we won’t be back.

What a rough experience-we had hungry kids and the place was empty, outside of a couple of regulars. The bartender/waitress was more concerned about her socializing than making sure the rest of us were getting what we need. After 45+ min of waiting we finally had to go and let her know we still had not received our food and she looked at me and said “it’s only been 20 min” where we had to correct her that it been over 45. She went to the kitchen briefly and came back to say he would have it soon. When we asked for the kids meals she said they were not even made yet. Nothing we had was complex. She later came and topped our water and blamed it on the new cook-none of us believed it and felt she did not put in our ticket. After an additional 20 min our food started to come out-hot and freshly made-clearly pointing at her negligence at putting in the ticket. She even stated at one point to a regular “that she had a hard time focusing when it was slow and would start day dreaming.” In the end everyone’s food was delicious except mine-the roast beef was tough end inedible. She claimed we would get a discount but it was roughly 3$ for a 100$ tab. Very sad as we had high hopes.

The iron mountain grill is my new go to spot for lunch and dinner. The food is not what you would expect for a bar. I have not had one complaint about this establishment. From the service , the drinks , the food. Its all been spot on. Trish has always been our server and she doesnt miss a beat. Fast and knowledgeable about the food. Ive been in this industry for 30 plus yrs so I am a little judgemental about my service. I have zero complaints. Please give them a try you wont be disappointed. P.s. the aoli horseradish is sooo good!
