I always pass by this restaurant on my daily commute and have wanted to try it for quite a while now. My husband and I decided to come here on a Saturday evening for dinner. I wanted to love it, but that just wasn’t the case. We weren’t greeted when we walked in the restaurant, which is somewhat understandable considering they were busy. It was a hot July day so we opted to sit inside, and it was still so hot inside it seemed that they didn’t have working AC. The Tree Frog Pale Ale and pretzel/beer cheese app were both very good which lightened the mood some. But the arugula mushroom burger wi
Our experience here was horrible! Ordered via no physical menu. Not the problem I get it it’s the new way of making money, charging more and spending less. The problem was one of the orders at the table asked for no mayonnaise. (Allergic). What does it have you guessed it. Good thing she didn’t just bite in. So instead of quickly fixing the problem she was left to nibble on tots that were supposed to be fries. When the burger came out without fries of course everyone else had finished. (Awkward). This review is on a few visits combined. I got the grizzly snacks berry sour. I also tried the POG sour, but it surprisingly, it wasn't my pick. My husband got a whisky sour which he liked. On another visit with a large group, we ordered the pretzel appetizers which was like more salted bread sticks with cheese dip. I like them. We also shared the whiskey King bbq chicken pizza. The pizza was very good. It was a new york style with plenty of cheese, jalapeño, chicken, red onion and bbq sauce. We got the large size - the slices were enormous!
Got the smoked salmon caesar salad and a burger, with the pretzels to start. All the food was AMAZING!!! Good beer, too. Update: went back and this time got the Mediterranean Salad and the Bomber Burger, so I added pictures of those. Both were delicious and lived up to the expectation, so HUB officially passed my "But is it as good the next time?" test (because sometimes the first experience is just a fluke).
Love this place. It is literally the most perfect place to enjoy a nice, sit down meal with a little one. The servers are totally understanding of kids/families, and are super kind and attentive. The play area is an easy 10, and it's so fun to watch the LOs have fun together! If you have a LO and want to enjoy a good meal and great vibe, check out Hopworks!
