Hale’s Restaurant and Lounge in Oregon delivers a solid, satisfying breakfast experience. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the service is warm without feeling rushed. The highlight of my visit was definitely the country sausage and biscuit — highly recommended! It’s flavorful, hearty, and exactly what you want in a classic comfort breakfast. The orange juice, however, could use a little improvement — it tasted a bit less fresh than expected. Not a deal-breaker, but noticeable. Overall, Hale’s is a great spot to start your morning with a dependable, tasty meal. I’ll definitely be
What a pleasant surprise! This is a wonderful spot for brunch with a great atmosphere. The portion sizes were much larger than we expected, which was a nice bonus. Since we visited during the busy brunch rush, the food took a little longer to arrive, but the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout. The excellent service and inviting ambiance made the wait worthwhile. Highly recommend this place!
We were seated right away. Bloody Mary was made from scratch and was delicious! The portions are HUGE and worth the price and then some. I had the breakfast burrito and my friend had an omelette. Both were amazing and we could barely finish half, so we have breakfast for tomorrow too!
We had a very enjoyable breakfast here. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. The food was hearty and satisfying, especially the biscuits and sausage. While the orange juice was just okay, the overall meal was delicious and made for a great start to the day. Definitely a place worth visiting for breakfast.
Hale's has been and is a Hillsboro tradition. The food and service are very good. Years ago 1976 and spring of 1977 I worked for Frank Hale, and Bob Muller. Frank was a real task master but as a young high schooler and first real job he taught me work skills like diligence, team work and respect for employers. Try the spartan sandwich if you visit, it's awesome!
