The locals sang the praises of the pizza (which is upstairs, by the way!), and they were about right. It was really, really solid pizza that most people will like a lot. Some people won’t like uneven cheese, some won’t like the dusting on the crust, etc—but it was solid. The burgers were also solid (we came twice to try multiple things), but the fries were absolutely the best part. The seasoning is bewitched with something. Lots of IPAs if you’re into those. If not, you have fewer beer choices. Overall, the ratings are justified. It’s a great spot.
Has two places to eat. The downstairs restaurant we had the fish n chips, burger and clam chowder. The clam chowder was great! The burger wasn’t bad but Ive had better. The fish n chips were, well, we didn’t like it and I think because it was made of tuna. This dish itself was cooked perfectly and the batter not too thick. We’re used to halibut which is a thinner and juicier fish. Oh and if you want soup before you’re meal I recommend going up and making one order for the soup, then going up after you’re done the soup to order your main meal. Otherwise they all come out together We went back
Awesome place to grab some delicious beer with great views of Astoria. Lots of cute dogs come through as well!! 😍 The 1st level was pretty busy so we went upstairs because we wanted to sit up there anyways. We found out that the upstairs beer menu wasn't the full taplist that they had downstairs, so we decided to just share 1 flight upstairs and share one downstairs afterwards. We had dinner plans so we didn't get any pizza here but it looked and smelled amazing. We'll definitely have to try it next time. We had a great time here!
Didn't eat here but the beer was great, and that was what I was having for lunch so they get 5 stars for food. From what I saw it looked good and smelled delicious. Wanted to visit here because I was told where the building sits was an old Trading post thats older than the establishment of Oregon. Crisp refreshing beer, the Hazy was top notch. Prices were surprisingly good for West coast. We live out east so it was refreshing to see. My son and pregnant wife had the Dakota Fanning which was Squirt soda and cranberry juice which they loved. Nothing better than a cold local brew in this g
I found Fort George Brewing in Astoria by looking up what places I could bring my dog with me. Apparently everyone else read that as well and there were quite a few dogs. The great thing about this location is you can avoid the dogs by staying inside and or going up to the third level as well. Unfortunately for me on this day the lady with the crazy Doodles just smiled as they barked at everyone. As they say when in Rome. But I did have some great neighbors and conversations with some very friendly people who live locally near me in Vancouver so it all balances out. I was recommended some
