Fireside

I am a huge fan of a good French Dip, and when this one crossed my path, I had to try it. It worked well, as the brunch item I needed, but a wise man once told me to, “…try everything twice. Once to say you did, and twice to make sure you liked it.”. Today I went back for my second French dip at this place, and I will say; it is almost a three hour drive, but if I am in that area, I will go for a third! They handle my biggest issue with a dip by using real bread that can actually soak up some au jus and still have structure. A fair amount of horseradish and pretty wonderful fries round out

Stopped in for drinks and some of their light food. Had a table next to a fire outdoor heater and we’re on the patio. Have they recommend stopping in for drinks

A nice place to go for a quick happy hour and chill. We ordered a few things to share and had a couple of drinks as well. Their sliders and fries were a must order. The Brussel sprouts portion was generous. I did enjoy their whiskey sour and expresso martini.

Cool place, service was great, food a wee bit slow. I will say, though…came in hungry, looking forward to a solid meal; got the KING salmon, plate was the size of a frisbee, salmon was the size of a toddler’s palm. 6 oz would be generous. Also $33 dollars.🤷 And yes, I understand King implies the breed of fish, not the size. However, price:size ratio did not match up in my opinion. Maybe that’s obvious and I should have known✋🙂‍↕️🤚. All I’m sayin’, if you’re hungry and pockets are tight, don’t get king salmon.

The Brussels sprouts were absolutely fabulous—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of flavor. The chicken enchilada was superb, bursting with taste and cooked to perfection. I paired my meal with a backyard grilling beverage, which rounded out the experience beautifully. Everything was fresh, delicious, and left me wanting to come back for more. Highly recommend!
