Fairmont Olympic Hotel

Every staff member we encountered was A+ from the front desk to housekeeping. Breakfast room service was so prompt with amazing pastries made in house and hot, strong coffee. Later, a great hamburger and perfect Salad Nicoise. The gorgeous lobby had a multitude of seating/working areas and the restaurant was top notch. The location with walking distance to the waterfront was perfect for our visit. ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) This hotel charges luxury prices but delivers a very average, outdated experience. The guest rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The furniture and decor are worn, the TVs are old, and the biggest issue was the air conditioning—it could not keep the room cool, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Cleanliness was also disappointing. The room did not appear to have been cleaned thoroughly, and the bathroom was noticeably dirty. At this price point, that’s simply unacceptable. The room was very clean, organized and felt taken care of. When we checked out we were able to check our bags at the front desk. Letting us enjoy the day in Seattle before going home later. Very friendly, personable and accommodating staff made the stay very enjoyable! Absolutely would stay again when the opportunity comes!

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Fairmont Olympic for just two nights following our Alaskan voyage, and we honestly could not fault the hotel or its staff. Lieu at reception looked after us exceptionally well from the moment we arrived. My wife is disabled, and he went out of his way to accommodate her needs and make sure we were both comfortable.
