I love this informal Cannon Beach dining institution! I’ve been coming here for many years. Delicious, fresh seafood with good value for the quality. Order at the counter, take a number, and choose from indoor or outdoor, covered seating, upstairs or ground floor (a restroom plus inside and outdoor seating on each floor). They specialize in traditional fish and chips (battered and deep-fried, English pub style) with the seafood cooked to perfection. I think you can choose to have a different cooking style, but we didn’t, and I don’t recall if it was an option. There are choices of portion size

I’m in charge of dining options during our family road trip to Oregon coast. This place did not disappoint. We very much enjoyed our food here. My daughter not liking clam chowder finished it off after my husband encouraged to give it a try. Kids ordered cheese burger. Not bad! Me and hubby ordered the halibut fish and chips, the seafood boat with shrimps and crab, and a small cup of clam chowder. The clam chowder was really good. We had to order a second cup cuz our daughter ended up taking ours! The halibut fish was also delicious and very fresh. The batter is nice, thin and crispy. When

Ecola Seafood is a must-visit for seafood lovers! The fish and chips were crispy, golden, and perfectly cooked, while the shrimp were absolutely delicious, juicy, flavorful, and a standout of the meal. The chowder was rich and comforting too. Everything was fresh and satisfying. Highly recommend!

The clam chowder here is legitimately good — creamy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The salmon was decent too, just wish the portion size matched the price. You’re paying full sit-down restaurant money for what is basically a fast-casual counter experience, and that disconnect is hard to ignore. The space itself is small — maybe 10 tables inside plus a patio outside. The nautical decor is charming and gives it a coastal feel, but the place could use a better cleaning routine. A few spots felt a bit grimy for a restaurant setting, which isn’t a great look when you’re charging these pric

The clam chowder is the standout — rich, creamy, and full of flavor, clearly made with care. The salmon was good, but the portion felt a bit small for the price. The setup leans fast-casual (order at the counter, seat yourself), yet the pricing matches a full-service restaurant, which creates a noticeable disconnect. The space is compact but charming, with nautical decor that fits the coastal vibe. Still, the cleanliness could use some improvement — a few areas felt less polished than expected. Also, if they position themselves as a restaurant at this price point, upgrading the utensils woul
