Sat outside and watched the haze from the fires in Spokane. Lovely location in Greenlake. The service was great. We had a fantastic lunch. Vegan Stew, Hot Honey Salmon Sandwich and Salmon Salad.
I’ve been to Duke’s a couple of times and while it’s good, I can’t say it’s great. Duke’s is a seafood restaurant that has a variety of foods, including their famous clam chowder, fish and chips and kid’s meals. They do have a kids menu, which is great! They also have good sourdough bread and you can get the clam chowder in a bread bowl which we did. We liked it and thought it was really good. The service was nice and the servers were helpful. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and has a good layout with seating inside and out. Overall, a thumbs up.
Absolutely loved the service, environment and especially the food. I was so happy with the food that I wanted to cry(kinda did) hahaha the moment I took a bite into the burger with the perfectly crisp and soft brioche bun; I couldn't contain myself, than to top off each bite had their classic clam chowder that was phenomenal! I cannot wait to go back!!!! This place has always been my go to spot for the chowder specifically. Now though I must keep going back until I try everything on the menu. Plus, I love the fact that they had a copy of a chowder recipe on the plates for you to take home an
Great food and solid service once seated, but the hostess set a poor tone. Despite plenty of open tables, we were told there was no availability for walk-ins in a dismissive way. What stood out was the contrast in treatment—while we were made to feel like an inconvenience, other walk-in guests were welcomed and seated without issue, which didn’t sit right. We went for an early dinner around 5:30pm today, so the experience was especially surprising. On a nice Seattle day, you expect a better vibe. The food is worth it, but the initial experience would make me spend my money elsewhere. I won’t
Great spot in Greenlake. Their outside seating area is nice and pups are welcome. Our server, Jose, was really nice and provided great service. The price for the fish tacos though, is high for what it is. Big but nothing amazing 2 for 36... Refreshing cocktails:)
