Great food, lively atmosphere, and thoughtful service! My husband and I had dinner at Crockett’s Public House in Puyallup. There was a car cruising event in town that day (mostly featuring classic and modified cars), so the restaurant was quite busy. However, we lucked out and got seated near the bar area without any wait. We ordered the Thick-cut B.L.T. and the Fire-grilled Artichoke. I was so impressed when they brought out the sandwich already split into two separate plates for us—such a thoughtful touch! True to its name, the sandwich was packed with plenty of thick, delicious bacon. The grilled artichoke had a wonderful smoky flavor and tasted amazing, though the portion of the actual artichoke heart/flesh was a little small. Still, the flavor completely made up for it! Our waitress was cheerful, friendly, and very attentive. The overall atmosphere of the place was fantastic, especially the bar area, which had a cool retro vibe and an impressive selection of drinks. Tip: For parking, it’s street parking only. Highly recommend this spot!
Food was good. Our waitress was absolutely a sweetheart! Young blonde gal. We came in a party of 8. Were put into 2 booths across from one another. They were jam packed and it was a Saturday. Anyway everything went well but man it was super hot in there. I can only imagine going there on a day where it’s over 65 degrees! I don’t sweat ever and my forehead was beading up with sweat.
Service was nice always good waiters/waitresses. Came in to get they're pork belly but they took it off the menu saf cause its my favorite on the menu. Calamari was undercooked but the grill 🧀 sandwich was great along with the tomato soup!! Nice rustic spot and good music playing highly recommended spot just hope the pork belly comes back.🤣 Also I think the portions on fries need to be smaller it seems alot of people leave with all the fries left on the plates. But still a great spot to eat.
We went to check this out today and were very pleasantly surprised. It had a good assortment of food options that would be perfect for any brunch lunch or dinner. It’s dry January so we didn’t try any of the cocktails, but I hear they’re very tasty. My wife had the tuna melt and absolutely loved it. The herbs and tomatoes they added to the sandwich were excellent touch. I tried their ribs and was disappointed. The flavor was OK, but they seem like they were day old and were reheated. A little dry and did not taste fresh. However, the potatoes and coleslaw that came with the ribs were amazing!
Popped in here, visiting my folks out in Puyallup. Haven't seen those clowns in like 3 years, so when I come through, we always go out to eat and drink. Came here per their suggestion, because I'm a food snob, and I'm glad we did. Cool little place, super clean, nice decorum, yada yada yada. Our server was Jessica T. I am very neurotic, and she was very patient, and even engaged in back and forth banter. She came to take our drink order, and if you know me, I always have a lot of complex requests. I started off ordering a boring vodka and soda, but then switched it up to cucumber vodka with muddled lime and mint with soda. Visibly and vocally unperturbed, she took my order along with my counterparts. The bartender whipped me up a couple of those bad boys and let me tell you, it was refreshment level: EXPERT. And props to the bartender, whom I thanked on the way out. After I drink order, I started ordering all sorts of ish. We had, an order of grilled sourdough, which was phenomenal and I'm actually going to start making that at home, if I ever get there, me and my (non-romantically involved, strictly platonic cuz I don't swing that way) partner both had the Cavatappi Ragu, and his wife had something with meatballs, that's all I can really remember. Man, even a my standards the food was so good. I'm very grateful that my folks picked up the check, and I feel bad because I ordered so much stuff, which I wasn't expecting because I went Ham on the menu, but damn man.... I think you can actually eat cheaper at a comparable restaurant in LA... Prices were pretty high. Even for me hahaha BUT all that being said, the next time I come see these clowns, I want to go back! Very good experience, very good food, very good service.
