We visited Copper River for the third time tonight, and this experience was completely different from our previous visits. Honestly, I usually do not give places three chances, but after speaking with a manager previously and being invited back, we decided to give it one more try. The last two visits were rough. We waited over 15 minutes before being greeted after being seated, our order was forgotten, and the overall experience felt disconnected. Both times we were seated in the bar area, which may have contributed to the inconsistent service. Tonight completely turned things around. Desti
My husband and I have just had dinner today. A typical American restaurant atmosphere I'd say. Our server, Paul, was friendly and attentive. He was nice even after we paid the bill. I was going to leave the restaurant thru the back door, but I turned around and said 'Never mind. It says emergency exit.' He heard me and said we were able to leave thru the door. The soup of the day was pretty good, but there was some sand of course. The cup had a crack and had a piece of dog's hair in there (it wasn't in the soup, so I didn't complain.) The pear and gorgonzola salad tasted good. Not too salty. T
5 stars across the board! No wait because we sat in the bar. Seated by the manager who was very nice. Our waitress was nice and very accommodating. Wasn't noisy although it was busy. Price was also very reasonable!
First Visit, host was friendly, helpful, kind. Server was robotic! Seriously, unfriendly, very machine like. Did the job efficiently but lacked personality or warmth! Food was decent, yet the fish looked like it was fried in oil that needed changing (dark). Fries were handcut, which is nice, yet they were hot or miss. Slaw first couple bites tasty and the rest very dry and tasteless. Place was huge and very dark, especially for mid-day--lunch. Would be fine for dinner. Dining room lacked intimacy or ambience. Very large open space with tables on top of one another.
Copper River has become a frequented spot for us for happy hour. Their service at the bar is always friendly and attentive. They updated a few items on their HH menu and I really like the wagyu sliders and chicken tenders. They have more creative options than most happy hours and their drinks are delicious too!
