I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! Food was exceptional, atmosphere felt like home, and you can tell the staff from top to bottom takes pride in great service and a welcoming experience-from the host, to the man bussing tables, to our server Brielle! The first thing I noticed when I walked up was the impeccably landscaped flowers outside. No weeds and beautiful flowers in bloom. This was a sign of good things to come at this restaurant. My daughter and I visited and we were so impressed, we had to comeback twice! The first time we order stuffed Crème Brûlée French Toast and the Montchalet scramble. The scramble had crunchy thick cut bacon and it was incredible! The second time we came I ordered the Breakfast tacos and my daughter the bear pancake. Everything tasted delicious! I must give a special shout out to the mixed berry streudel. My grandmas used to make something similar and since she passed away, I have never tasted anything even remotely similar in quality and taste, until now! Brought back some good memories of home. Definitely recommend!

Such a lovely place to start the day at. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Restaurant has a lovely charm to it and is large enough that waiting for a table isn’t too long even if there is a wait. Food is really good and comes out quickly enough. The chicken fried steak is amazing and so are the scrambled eggs with salmon. Would 100% recommend anyone pass by the town to drop by for a bite.

We came here on my son's 10th birthday and had the best experience. Our waitress Marie was outstanding and went above and beyond. I asked her if she could write the number 10 with the whipped cream and she came with a candle lit on his waffle as well. The food was so delicious and their bakery items are the real deal. My husband got the Loaded Lodge, which looked delicious. One son got the French Toast and the birthday boy got the Waffle. I ordered the crêpes (Blintzes) and while they were delicious, I wish I would have known the "creamy filling" was made with likely mascarpone as I am not a big fan of that flavor. I also wish they offered it in a half size, I could only eat two of the four. If you like coffee you have to order something with their espresso whipped cream! It is dangerously good and should be on their "On The Side" menu 🤣. After a long fun-filled day, my son said that breakfast was still his favorite part of the day. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

Stopped for breakfast at the Cottage. Great food and serve. Hubby ordered the Biscuits and Gravy with two overeasy eggs, hashbrowns and a side of Canadian bacon. The biscuits with nice and fluffy and the gravy was delicious. I ordered the Bacon, mushroom and Swiss cheese quiche which came with hashbrowns and a baked good and I chose the apricot scone. The were baked perfectly and very tasty. Great start to a great day.

We came at the end of breakfast service. We could have had lunch decided on Breakfast the menu made it very difficult to choose. Went with the veggie browns with eggs and bacon. It was great. My husband had the NW scramble with smoked salmon. The portions were just right. Instead of the standard toast your able to pick a bakery item. We both choose the seasonal fruit strudel of mixed berries it was delightful. Ended up sharing one and taking home one.
