Celilo is one of those restaurants we keep coming back to, and it’s incredible every single time. The menu has a great variety, with so much of it thoughtfully sourced from local farms and producers, which really comes through in the quality of the food. Everything always feels fresh, seasonal, and beautifully prepared, and we’ve yet to have a dish disappoint. Consistently one of our favorite places to eat in Hood River and absolutely worth a visit!

What a special surprise to find this little gem open and thriving on a Wednesday night in downtown Hood River Appetizers were Bread /Sesame Crackers Olives/Nuts Especially loved the olives 🫒 All 3 of us ordered the New York strip steak With Red Wine reduction and Bernaise sauce , Golden potatoes and asparagus Delish!!!! I highly recommend you make reservations Like I said it was very busy Maybe even a little noisy Our server was fantastic Drinks and food all served promptly Love the the food is all locally sourced Definitely a 5!!!

We chose this restaurant for the farm to table experience and to celebrate a family event. While there were some great dishes, unfortunately 2/3 of the meal was executed so poorly we couldnt finish it. We ordered a cocktail, local ipa and a mocktail. No complaints there, drinks were well made. The bread and dip platter had a few delicious dips some misses, but overall a unique assortment that we enjoyed. NY steak is slightly tough with too much gristle although cooked perfectly what we requested (medium rare), red wine sauce $2 extra and excellent, but not enough for entire steak. skewers cheese is good but a bit too salty. Hot date is sweet but relatively simple and uncomplicated. Romanesco vegetables boiled straight from grocery with no sauce. Food generally okay nothing bad, but somewhat below expectation.

Celilo Catering catered my wedding at The Orchard Hood River. And it was INCREDIBLE! Celilo provides not just dinner for your wedding, but an experience. You can smell the food being cooked in the open kitchen, you can see the garden where it came from, and when it's time to eat, family style dining created the feeling of an intimate dinner party with all your people.
