We had a great dinner at Cactus in Kirkland. The atmosphere was lively without being overwhelming, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. We ordered the Burrita Leñera with smoked brisket, the Birria Quesadilla, and the Cactus Chicken Fajitas with corn tortillas. The Burrita Leñera was the standout—tender brisket with a deep smoky flavor that really worked well with the dish. Great food. The corn quesadilla was very good. Not the usual cheesy stuffing but flavorful. The jackfruit tinga tacos were also very delicious. Lots of options for cocktails.

Overall I had a very good experience at Cactus! I came with a large party but seating and service was very prompt (even though they were very busy). The food was also great! The chips and salsa were delicious as well as a shrimp shareable we ordered for the table. The carnitas tacos, steak salad, and shrimp fajitas were all loved by our group. One of my party members said while she enjoyed the chicken fajitas, the chicken itself was a little bland. Luckily the salsas, rice and beans, and veggies included made it better. We had a really great experience here—the quality of the food honestly stood out from the start. We asked for the skewers with light salt just to be safe, and they came out perfect. The nachos and guacamole were amazing. The ceviche had a nice spicy kick, which we were expecting, so no surprises there. Service was solid the whole time, friendly, attentive, and everything came out smoothly. Overall, we left really happy. Definitely a place we’d come back to.
